Ayser Hussain | National Physical Performance and Classification Manager – The FA Group
For the past year, Peter has excelled in the continued development of one of England’s most talented blind football players. Peter is deeply knowledgeable about strength and conditioning, and he continually champions best practise. Peter was professional in every respect to ensure my player and I received the best service possible. Peter’s flexibility and accommodating demeanour meant that he travelled to various locations to ensure my players training schedule was not compromised. Peter’s work contributed to The FA’s England blind football squad achieving a bronze medal at the 2017 European Championships and ensuring England qualified for the World Championships in 2018.
Julia – English Schools Senior Girls 3000m Winner
I started training with Peter about a year ago and I believe that the training has been invaluable to my athletic performance. Peter has helped me improve my overall strength, especially in my lower back (as I have had issues with my lower back for a couple of years) and in my legs to help with my running. Peter is extremely helpful and always corrects my technique when necessary making sure I do the movements correctly.
Since supplementing my running training with Peter’s one-to-one strength and condition sessions I have achieved a 3000m personal best and won the English Schools Senior Girls 3000m Title.
Peter is also a lovely coach and it is always a pleasure to go to training.
Chris Scott – Former professional cricket player/Head coach to Cambridge MCCU
‘The quality of the modern facilities together with the hands on expertise of the strength and conditioning / sports therapy staff has been hugely beneficial to my squad both in terms of increased fitness levels, strength and in injury prevention. We are lucky to have these services’
Ruth Scanlan – National level swimmer. Trials for the London 2012 Olympics
I really enjoyed training with Piotr! As a swimmer he helped me by targeting specific areas to my stroke and distance. Throughout my time with him he introduced new activities and always kept me motivated!
Nick Brown – GB squash mens over 45
I was introduced to Piotr for conditioning for competitive squash. Piotr enthusiastically and carefully assessed and analysed the challenges to create a training program which has been carefully tailored and evolved to the specific requirements. This program has addressed general conditioning, strength, speed and injury rehabilitation. I can thoroughly recommend Piotr to others.
Helen Boyle – High Performance Sport Co-ordinator at ARU
Piotr at Ultimate Sports Therapy and Performance Ltd has been providing sports therapy advice and treatment to Anglia Ruskin University sports scholars and high performance squad members for the last year. His knowledge and experience has been extremely well received by individuals that have accessed his clinics and we are incredibly grateful for his flexibility and friendly nature that has enabled us to offer this service on our campus and to keep our most talented athletes happy and healthy”
Frances Peters – British Olympic performance squad sailor
I am British Olympic performance squad sailor, campaigning towards the 2016 Games. One of the greatest challenges in my campaign so far has been balancing my training with doing a degree at Warwick University. Piotr was brilliant in supporting me throughout and helping me through a programme that kept me fit strong and motivated, whilst fitting it in around my studies. A year on, I have finished 8th at the World Championships and 3rd at the European championships. I am so grateful for Piotr’s expert help at such an important time
Andrew Hodgson – UCPLC President
Piotr has been an enormous help to Cambridge University Powerlifting Club over the last two years. He has worked with many of our lifters to not only return them to full strength, but to also analyse and correct their movement and mobility to help us to remain injury free. Piotr always aims to get to the root of the problem, not just treat the symptoms.
Dani Caverzaschi – London 2012 wheelchair tennis athlete
I can only be grateful to someone who is not only a great S&C coach but is hard-working, eager to learn and above all, a great guy. In the relatively short period we’ve been together, we have already achieved perhaps my greatest results to this date. Now looking forward to do greater things. Vamos!
